GTECHNIQ Smart Surface Science
Glass Coating
All of the exterior glasswork including mirrors will be treated with Gtechniq Glass Coating which is both durable and optically clear. This non stick coating makes it easier to remove winter grime and bug remnants from your glass in Summer. Rainwater beads straight off the glass giving you enhanced visibility in wet conditions.
Paintwork Coating
This is a hard hydrophobic layer on top of your car paintwork that delivers a high gloss finish, makes cleaning easier and makes the paintwork completely hydrophobic. Water simply beads straight off of the vehicle. It also provides swirl resistance from micro scratches during washing.
Wheel Coating
Brake dust is notorious for sticking to your wheels and being difficult to remove. Once coated, wheels are easy to clean and allow for removal of all brake dust with every wash thus preventing corrosion or other future issues with the surfaces of your wheel. Powder Coated, Painted and Diamond Cut Wheels can all be protected by Gtechniq Wheel Coating.
Leather Protection
Gtechniq Leather Coating with BioCote reduces wear on high traffic leather surfaces such as bolsters and the steering wheel. The coating prevents dye transfer from clothing such as Jeans and prevents staining from other contaminants. This invisible layer also makes leather much easier to clean.
Fabric Protection
Gtechniq Fabric Protection reduces soiling to fabric surfaces such as cloth, carpet and Alcantara significantly. After treatment with Gtechniq Biocote Fabric Coating, in most cases stains can be wiped away with just a damp cloth preventing the traditional need to have stains removed via shampooing and wet vacuuming.
Machine Polishing
All of our Gtechniq Protection packages include machine polishing / paint enhancement. You can choose between a Gloss Enhancement (1 Stage Polish best suited to new vehicles or vehicles still in near new condition) which will remove light swirls and imperfections leaving a smooth finish ready for application of Gtechniq coatings.
For older or more heavily scratched vehicles we can carry out a 2 stage paint correction to remove heavy defects and scratching to return your vehicle back to a showroom paintwork finish and allow for application of Gtechniq Coatings.
Gloss Enhancement vs Paint Correction
1 Stage Gloss Enhancing Polish
Most new vehicles are delivered containing defects to some degree. These can come in the form of minor swirls marks or holograms caused by buffing and wiping at either the factory or dealership. The same can be said for vehicles that are a few years old but have been well looked after. Washing and day to day wear can cause some slight dulling of the paintwork which a gloss enhancing polishing will remove. A single stage polish process will remove these light imperfections and provide a factory fresh finish allowing for application of Ceramic Coatings to your vehicles paintwork to ensure this finish is retained .
2 Stage Paint Correction Polish
Older vehicles or vehicles that have frequented road side hand car washes more often than not contain noticeable swirl marks and scratching that show in sun light. Nails and keys could have caused scratching around door handles and brushing past hedges or bushes can cause long scratches down the panels of your car. In most cases this can be removed with a 2 stage paint correction to first cut the deep scratches out of the vehicles paintwork and then refine the finish with a light polish to return a like new shine.
This process can turn your tired looking car back into a showroom example giving you great satisfaction whilst also adding value back to your vehicle.
